Quick report
- went for a early morning tour out to twin peaks for some pre-storm obs and soft turns. - notable amount of well developed surface hoar on all elevations (including ridgeline start zones) on NW- N - NE - E aspects. - top 15-25cm of snow consisted of mostly near surface facets / decomposing frags / surface hoar on norths + east - dug in the snow near a ridgeline start zone, NE aspect, 8500k: CTN x2, rightside up in overall structure, fist hard snow top 25cm, followed by a mix of 1F rounds and crusts (only dug down 80cm to ice layer).
