Quick report
Traveled on N and NE aspects between 6500-7500' after 2pm. Snowfall was heavy and winds moderate to strong. Travel conditions are still challenging both uphill and downhill, with downhill skiing only slightly more possible than the last two days. No cracking observed this day, possibly because the weak layers are getting more difficult to access. Snow immersion risk is extreme, even at this low elevation. While skinning across a flat looking slope I fell neck deep into a void next to a buried fallen tree which had not been visible. Getting out of this hole and even getting upright after falling in general would be difficult without help in these conditions. I probed a nearby tree well and found 10cm of light snow and then air down 190cm before hitting the Feb 10 crust.
