Det blir mer vinterlig nå som snøgrensa synker og nedbøren kommer som snø i fjellet. Tidvis kraftig vind vil danne ferske fokksnøflak i leheng. I slike områder kan det være lett å løse ut snøskred. Unngå ferdsel under glidesprekker og skavler.

Snowpack Structure

Snøsgrensen i Romsdalen ligger omtrent på 700 moh. Onsdag lå nysnøgrensa på 850 moh, men etter mildvær torsdag ligger grensa høyere. Nysnø på de høyeste toppene og myke flak i snøoverflata.
