Generally stabile conditions. Be careful with fresh wind slabs, but they are expected to be small.

Snødekket er generelt hardt og stabilt. Høyt til fjells i indre strøk finnes litt løssnø som vil flyttes til fokksnøflak når vinden øker utover dagen. Litt nysnø om kvelden fører også til små fokksnøflak i leområder. Det kan være lett å løse ut skred i den ferske fokksnøen, men den forventes å stabilisere seg raskt.

Snowpack Structure

Det har i februar vært flere perioder med mildvær med plussgrader høyt til fjells og litt regn. Snøoverflaten er nå stort sett skare. Tirsdag kom det litt tørr nysnø over ca 600 moh i indre strøk.

Tendency

The snow is mainly stable. There may be a few small wind slabs at the highest peaks in the inner part of the region. Be careful in steep terrain with hard snow since it is easy to slip and injure yourself.
