Forecast Snow Stability: Some softening of the patchy snow cover is likely later in the day otherwise the snow will remain firm and well bonded. Greatest amounts will mostly be found in high North to East corries. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: A dry day with the freezing levels lifting to above the summits. Winds will be strong, mostly North-West. Observed Weather Influences: A very light dusting of snow above 900 metres overnight but dry thereafter. The winds were strong from the North-North-West. ObservedSnowStability: The older patchy snow is very firm, well bonded and stable. Any new snow was cosmetic and inconsequential. Very little snow remains below 800 metres with larger areas present above 900 metres in the steep North and East facing corries of the highest mountains. The avalanche hazard is Low.
