Avalanche Activity

In some regions 5 to 10 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall. The avalanche danger will persist.

On very steep northeast, north and northwest facing slopes and above approximately 2400 m individual small loose snow slides are possible as a consequence of the new snow. At elevated altitudes mostly small wind slabs will form.

Snowpack Structure

The small quantity of fresh snow and the mostly small wind slabs are lying on a crust. On sunny slopes as well as at low and intermediate altitudes from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying.
