In sintesi

As a consequence of warming and solar radiation a moderate avalanche danger will prevail. The prevalence of the avalanche prone locations will increase as the day progresses.

Avalanche Activity

As a consequence of warming and solar radiation a moderate avalanche danger will prevail. The prevalence of the avalanche prone locations will increase as the day progresses.

As a consequence of warming during the day and the solar radiation, the likelihood of moist and wet avalanches being released will increase gradually in particular on very steep sunny slopes at low and intermediate altitudes. In very isolated cases weak layers exist in the bottom section of the snowpack in particular on near-ridge shady slopes. They can be released, mostly by large loads in isolated cases.

Snowpack Structure

As a consequence of rising temperatures and solar radiation a crust formed on the surface during the last few days. These weather conditions as the day progresses will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack. This applies in particular on steep sunny slopes in particular at low and intermediate altitudes. Over a wide area wind slabs are lying on old snow containing large grains.
