Avalanche Activity

Thus far only isolated small gliding avalanches and moist snow slides are possible as a consequence of warming during the day.

As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation individual mostly small ground avalanches are possible.

Snowpack Structure

In areas where the snow cover is rather shallow and on very steep sunny slopes thus far only a little snow is lying. Above approximately 2000 m a little snow is lying. The snowpack will be moist in all altitude zones. The weather conditions as the day progresses will give rise to moistening of the snowpack on very steep sunny slopes.
