Forecast Snow Stability: The older snowpack will remain well bonded and stable. Isolated and shallow areas of unstable windslab will be present mainly on North-West through North to East aspects above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: It will be mainly dry with strong Southerly winds. The freezing level will be above the summits. Observed Weather Influences: It was a dry day with moderate South-West winds. No clearly defined freezing level due to a temperature inversion. ObservedSnowStability: The older snowpack has refrozen and is firm and stable in all locations. Isolated and very shallow areas of poorly bonded windslab are present mainly on North-East to South-East aspects above 850 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
