Snowpack Structure

Above approximately 1000 m snow will fall on Sunday. The new snow will be deposited on a favourable old snowpack above approximately 1800 m. The snowpack will become generally stable. On very steep slopes the avalanche danger is a little higher.

Avalanche Activity

New snow above approximately 1000 m.

On very steep slopes individual avalanches are possible, but they will be mostly small. In localities where more snow falls danger level 1 (low) may be reached. They can be released, mostly by large loads in isolated cases.
