Forecast Snow Stability: New weak windslab expected on steep East to South aspects above 900m. Accumulations expected to be localised and confined to gully tops and coire rims. The eastern end of the Creag Meagaidh forecast area may see deeper, more extensive new windslab. The patchy old snowpack where exposed will become hard and icy. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate

Forecast Weather Influences: Wintry weather in prospect with very cold temperatures. Light snow showers are forecast though there is some uncertainty over exact amounts. Moderate, later fresh, West-North-West winds becoming Northerly later. Observed Weather Influences: Cool temperatures. Occasional light snow showers. Light West North West winds. ObservedSnowStability: Only a little new drifting. Thin cover of fresh snow above 950m. The patchy old snowpack is moist and firm in most locations. Good stability everywhere. The avalanche hazard is Low
