Snow and Weather

Ted was out and about this and caught some stunning images. Yep... the weekend storm made the peaks white, but looking into the weather crystal ball, high pressure and warming temperatures keep winter at bay through at least next week.

I grabbed the image above whilst stomping around in Chalk Creek on Friday. The biggest takeaway is... patchy, early season snow on upper elevation north facing terrain is moth-eaten and shouldn't pose much of a problem moving forward. Swing around to the south half of the compass and I bet the terrain melts out, reverting to its brown, autumn coat.
