In sintesi
Soft slabs up to two feet in depth exist in wind loaded upper elevation starting zones. These slabs lie upon a slick early season crust and a layer of weak faceted snow and could be triggered in steep terrain and in cliff areas. Isolated pockets of soft slab could also be triggered on steep wind loaded northerly aspects at the mid elevations. Be aware of terrain traps.
