In sintesi

In isolated areas at the high elevations slabs to two feet in depth could be triggered in very steep shaded terrain. New shallow sluffs or wind slabs are also possible to trigger in areas where enough new snow fell. Mostly stable snow exists at the mid and lower elevations.

Avalanche Discussion

Clouds are to increase during the day and bring the chance for light snow showers to the area Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. Highs are to be the teens and winds are to back to the northwest with ten to twenty mile per hour averages. The general avalanche hazard will be MODERATE above 9000 feet where in isolated areas the chance continues to trigger slabs to two feet in depth in very steep shaded terrain. Below 9000 feet the hazard will be LOW in the stable and shallow snowpack.
