Avalanche Activity

Low, level 1.

Hardly any small avalanches are possible as a consequence of warming. Very isolated avalanche prone locations are to be found at high altitude and adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls.

Snowpack Structure

The older wind slabs are to be found adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls and generally at high altitudes. They are very small. The weather conditions from the early morning will give rise to moistening of the old snowpack. The surface of the snowpack will only just freeze and will already be soft in the early morning.
