Avalanche Activity

Low, level 1.

Thus far only isolated small avalanches are possible. The avalanche prone locations are to be found especially in gullies and bowls above approximately 1600 m.

Snowpack Structure

The old snowpack remains subject to considerable local variations in high Alpine regions. A little new snow above approximately 1200 m. As a consequence of a moderate to strong northeasterly wind, small wind slabs will form adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls.
