A lot of new snow above approximately 2000 m. Avalanches can be released and reach large size in isolated cases. This applies in particular on sunny slopes, as well as on wind-loaded slopes above approximately 2000 m. From starting zones that have retained some snow in these regions the avalanches can in isolated cases still reach an unusually long way. At low and intermediate altitudes moist avalanches can penetrate even deep layers. Backcountry tours, off-piste skiing and ascents to alpine cabins should be started very early and concluded timely.

Over a wide area 100 to 150 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, fell in the last four days above approximately 2000 m. A lot of new snow in the high Alpine regions.
