A favourable avalanche situation will be encountered over a wide area.
The rather small wind slabs of the last few days are in individual cases still prone to triggering in particular on very steep shady slopes at elevated altitudes. Caution is to be exercised in particular adjacent to ridgelines. The wind slabs are clearly recognisable to the trained eye.
Snowpack Structure
The snowpack will be stable over a wide area. The somewhat older wind slabs are mostly small and unlikely to be released now.
