The weather report and anticipated change in the avalanche danger are uncertain. The avalanche danger should be investigated very thoroughly in the relevant locality. As a consequence of the precipitation dry and wet avalanches are possible as the day progresses, even medium-sized ones. The avalanche prone locations are to be found at the base of rock walls and adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. The new snow can be released by a single winter sport participant in all aspects. Backcountry touring calls for meticulous route selection.
