Avalanche Summary

An Avalanche Watch is in effect for the Gore Range and the Northern Sawatch Range. Expect very dangerous conditions to develop by Monday morning and continue into the night.

Sunday's avalanche conditions are dangerous. You can trigger large and dangerous avalanches on most steep northerly and easterly slopes. You can trigger an avalanche from a distance, and they may break wider and run farther than you expect. Give yourself plenty of space around steep slopes.
