Avalanche Summary
A good freeze should lock up the snowpack, providing mostly safe travel. If the day warms significantly or the overnight freeze is poor, and you find yourself sinking into wet snow past your ankles, head to lower-angle slopes. Starting and ending your day early is a good strategy to reduce your risk of avalanches.
