The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Soft slabs to two feet in depth formed over the weekend on steep leeward slopes. These slabs lie upon weak faceted snow and crusts and could be triggered by riders and skiers on wind loaded aspects in avalanche terrain. Multiple passes may be necessary to release slides.
