In sintesi

The avalanche hazard is MODERATE this morning, and will increase to CONSIDERABLE today as temperatures quickly rise and the weak surface crust formed at all elevations overnight rapidly softens. The potential for wet loose and wet slab avalanches will increase today on steep snow covered slopes as this heating occurs. The potential for cornices to fail will also increase on the higher peaks, which may trigger larger avalanches.
