In sintesi

The general avalanche danger is LOW today. 'Low' danger does not mean 'no' danger. Isolated pockets of lingering wind slab can be found in the highest elevations. Avalanches are unlikely at the mid elevations, and the low elevations lack sufficient coverage for an avalanche rating. Caution is advised today as many terrain hazards lurk just below the snow surface and even small avalanches could result in serious injury.

Avalanche Discussion

Westerly winds in the 15-25 mph range will continue this evening and become calm by the early morning hours. Temperatures will dip slightly into the twenties overnight before climbing back into the high twenties/low thirties tomorrow. Isolated showers may develop overnight with no measurable snowfall expected. Skies will be partly cloudy during the day tomorrow. The avalanche danger will remain LOW tomorrow. Mild daytime temps and sunshine will help to further stabilize the snowpack for the long term. Expect faceting (weakening) of the snowpack to continue on cold and shaded aspects.
