Snow and Weather
Current Conditions
We are seeing a "textbook" high pressure pattern with a temperature inversion in the mountains. Drainages and canyon bottoms are in the teens while the higher elevations are in the mid to upper 20s. North wind remains very light. Riding conditions are decent in areas that had soft snow prior to Thursday's storm.
Mountain Weather
Today will be sunny with mountain temperatures into the low 30s and light north wind. It looks like January is going to submit to the high pressure stranglehold it's been under. All I see is sunny mild weather for the next week. There's a glimmer of hope that a weather pattern change is coming in early February.
