Avalanche Activity

The new snow of the weekend represents the main danger. This snow is to be evaluated with care and prudence in all aspects above the tree line. The new snow can be released by a single winter sport participant in all aspects above the tree line. The off-piste conditions are to some extent critical. Temporary safety measures may be necessary.

Snowpack Structure

Over a wide area 30 cm of snow, and up to 50 cm in some localities, will fall until the early morning above approximately 1800 m. The covering of new snow is soft. The new snow can be released easily or naturally in all aspects above the tree line.
