In sintesi

The snowpack is mostly stable this morning due to strong sun crusts formed from yesterday's sunny weather on sunlit aspects. Warm temperatures again today will soften the crusts and increase the chance of wet sloughs triggered by backcountry users, cornice drops or snow dropping from cliff areas. Shaded aspects in very steep, cliffy areas at upper elevations have the potential to pull out deeper slides. At low elevations thermal inversions will keep the snowpack cool and mostly stable.

Avalanche Discussion

Some clouds are expected tomorrow. These clouds are to keep temperatures slightly cooler with mountain highs in mid to upper twenties forecast for the mountains. Winds are to be light and variable. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be Low in the morning and Moderate in the afternoon as sunlight and heating weaken the snow surface.
