Tetons
Pericolo valanghe
In sintesi
At the upper elevations, backcountry travelers could trigger pockets of soft slab 6 to 18 inches in depth, along with loose snow sluffs in steep, wind loaded avalanche terrain. These small slides will become more susceptible to failure on sun affected aspects as the day warms. A slight chance remains for large loads to cause full depth hard slabs. However, it has been over a month since such an event occurred. The snowpack is mostly stable at the low and mid elevations and avalanches are unlikely. The final performance of the play "K2", which benefits the avalanche center, will be at the Center for the Arts this afternoon.

A slight chance may remain for large loads to trigger full depth avalanches at the upper elevations. In steep, wind loaded avalanche terrain, backcountry travelers could also trigger loose snow sluffs, and isolated pockets of surface slab up to 12 inches deep.
