A lengthy period of repeated melt-freeze cycles has created a mostly stable snowpack. Avalanches are unlikely and conditions are generally safe. Daily avalanche hazard bulletins will continue to be issued until April 19.

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )A strong southwest flow will bring Pacific moisture into the region. On Sunday skies will be mostly cloudy with a chance of mountain snow showers. Accumulations of an inch or two are possible in localized areas. Temperatures will be in the 20s and 30s in the mountains. Winds will be southwest at 10 to 20 with gusts to 30 miles per hour.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW. Mostly stable snow exists and avalanches are unlikely below an elevation of 10,500 feet.
