In sintesi

The general avalanche hazard remains CONSIDERABLE. Surface slabs up to two feet in depth formed by strong southwest to west winds exist on leeward aspects. In addition the potential to trigger DANGEROUS deep slabs to the ground will increase with warming temperatures and rain. Large triggers such as snowmachines high marking in the steep starting zones of major avalanche paths have the best potential to trigger these killer slabs. Helping a friend whose machine is stuck on a steep slope with the potential to avalanche is a leading cause of avalanche fatalities.
