Some loose surface instabilities will be present on steep aspects. Remaining cornices will be prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Observed Weather Influences: Snow showers above 800 metres this morning slowly turned to rain at all levels by the afternoon. Moderate to strong South-Easterly winds over the summits. ObservedSnowStability: New snow accumulations from this morning have started to thaw at all levels by late afternoon. Greatest accumulations are on steep North-West, North and North-East aspects above 1000 metres. Localised instabilities are present in these locations. Existing old snow is generally stable. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
