In sintesi
The overall danger rating is LOW today.
The snowpack is generally stable and we have mostly safe avalanche conditions.
LOW danger does not mean NO DANGER and you always accept a certain amount of risk if you are choosing to get into very steep, radical terrain.
Snow and Weather
Current Conditions: Wow. Riding conditions remain excellent on many aspects. You'll find heat crusts on the sunnier facing slopes. Temperatures got into the mid 30s on Thursday and dropped back into the mid 20s overnight. Canyon bottoms are colder with the inversion in place. The wind has been light for the last few days. It has switched from the northwest to a flow from the southwest.
Mountain Weather: We'll see high clouds today with temperatures around 30 or a bit warmer. Wind from the southwest will remain pretty light. We might see a little more sun filtering through the clouds on Saturday. A storm will move through Sunday into Monday and should provide a pretty good refresher of snow.
