Avalanche Activity

Forecast Snow Stability: Good stability in all locations. The snowpack will remain moist and well bonded. Any remaining cornices expected to weaken over the forecast period. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: No precipitation is forecast. Remaining cool or mild depending on elevation. Observed Weather Influences: Mild at all elevations overnight although cooler surface conditions for a time on heavily shaded locations. Bright and mild during the day. ObservedSnowStability: Good stability in all locations. Firm snow surface conditions in heavily shaded aspects for a time but softer snow everywhere by midday. Residual cornices, especially over East aspects, remain weak. The avalanche hazard is Low.
