Forecast Snow Stability: Little change is expected. Areas of unstable windslab will persist in wind sheltered locations mainly on North-East through East to South aspects above 900 metres. North-West and North aspects will also be affected at high elevations. These accumulations will be quite localised but typically in sheltered hollows, coire rims, ridge flanks, gullies and gully tops. Fragile cornices will remain on similar aspects and altitudes. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.
Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing level will be around 500 metres. Staying dry and cold with light East or East-South-Easterly winds. Observed Weather Influences: The new snow that was forecast for last night and for today didn\'t materialise, just an odd very light snow flurry but not the volume expected. It has remained mostly dry and generally calm, any winds were very light Southerlies. It froze at all levels last night the freezing level today was around 450 metres.
