It seems that most of the wet loose avalanche activity occurred several days ago at the initiation of this latest warm spell. Although temperatures have been reaching the mid-40s in the mountains, the snow surface hasn't been softening enough to create further wet loose avalanches. If you're traveling on steep, sunny slopes on Monday, it's still a good idea to monitor the snow surface. Look for roller balls, pinwheels, and how deeply your boots sink into the snow as indicators that the snow is losing cohesion.
Any avalanches would likely be small, however, remember that terrain features like rocks, cliffs, and gullies can make the consequences of a small avalanche worse. Also keep an eye out for overhead hazards, like rockfall. I saw quite a few rocks flying down Broken Top's slopes on Sunday morning.
