Forecast Snow Stability: Mild conditions with rain will further reduce the snow cover. Generally the snowpack will be soft and moist with reasonable stability. Wet snow instabilities will persist above 950 metres on steep ground in sheltered gullies and on slopes with a North-West through North to Easterly aspect. Gully exits and corrie rims will be most affected. Unstable cornices may also exist in these areas. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Rain heavy at times at all levels will continue to affect the area, slightly cooler conditions through the day may give a light cover of new snow on the highest tops but amounts are not expected to be significant. Winds will become strong through the day generally from the South-South-West. The freezing level will mainly lie above the Glen Coe summits with a very brief period at around 1000 metres. The freezing level is well above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack continues to thaw and diminish particularly at lower levels. The remaining snow is soft wet and is generally stable on all but the steepest slopes where wet snow instabilities exist, most affected areas are sheltered gullies and Northwesterly through North to Easterly slopes mainly above 950 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
