Avalanche Activity

Gliding avalanches and moist snow slides are possible.

In particular on steep slopes small and medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation.

Snowpack Structure

The solar radiation will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack in all aspects. This applies in particular on steep sunny slopes. The surface of the snowpack will soften quickly.
