In sintesi

As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation the avalanche prone locations will become more prevalent as the day progresses.

Problemi valanghivi

  • Wet snow

    • Above 1,700 m
  • Wind slab

    • Above 2,000 m

Avalanche Activity

As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation the avalanche prone locations will become more prevalent as the day progresses.

As a consequence of warming during the day and the solar radiation, the likelihood of moist and wet avalanches being released will increase gradually in particular on steep slopes. Several medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large avalanches are possible in the regions with a lot of snow. The fresh snow of the weekend as well as the sometimes deep wind slabs can be released, especially by large additional loads,.

Snowpack Structure

The weather conditions as the day progresses will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack. Weak layers exist in the snowpack.

Tendency

Significant warming.
