In sintesi

Dense slabs, one to two feet in depth, could be started by backcountry travelers on steep, wind-loaded slopes. Slides may require larger triggers like more than one person on a slope at the same time. Forecasted snow and wind could develop easily triggered surface slabs on upper elevation lee slopes later in the day.

Avalanche Discussion

After snow tapers off tonight, skies are to be partly cloudy on Thursday with mountain high temperatures in the low twenties and North winds at 15-20 mph. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be MODERATE on Thursday throughout Western Wyoming. Surface slabs to one foot in depth that lie in steep wind loaded terrain will be susceptible to skier triggers and the possibility to trigger deeper, larger slides will exist in the Southwest Trails/Greys River area.
