Generally safe avalanche conditions exist across the state. If you plan on traveling in very steep, consequential terrain higher in the alpine, look for and avoid hard, wind-drifted snow where your skis or snowboard barely make a track. You could trigger a small pocket that could take you for a nasty ride. Start and end your day early to avoid small wet avalanches in the afternoon.
