Forecast Weather Influences: Storm force South-Westerly winds initially will veer to become Westerly in the early hours and reduce to gale force. Overnight there will be rain at all levels. This precipitation will turn to sleet on the highest summits around dawn as the freezing level briefly drops to summit level before rising again later. The day will be predominantly dry with the odd wintry shower on the highest summits. Observed Weather Influences: Storm force South-Westerly winds. Continuous rain at all levels. 7C at 500 metres.
