Overall, the avalanche danger is LOW. Wet snow avalanches should be taken into account. Avoid steep gullies and ravines where the snowpack is "punchy" and you are sinking through deep into the wet snowpack.

Current Conditions: The new snow from Sunday certainly helped riding conditions but you need to stick to higher elevation more northerly facing terrain to find dry snow. All other aspects have become damp. Many locations are "punchy" and unsupportable where you sink deep through the snowpack. This is due to the prolonged warming period we are experiencing.

Mountain Weather: Today we should see mostly cloudy skies with continued mild temperatures. Highs will be slightly warmer than Monday and should get into the mid 30s along the ridges. Storms to our south will continue to push cloud cover into our zone through the week but unfortunately we won't see much snow accumulation.
