In sintesi

Wind Slab avalanches will be possible on steep East slopes near treeline and in alpine terrain.  If you choose to ride at these higher elevations, careful observations of recent blowing snow will be key to determining specifically which slopes to avoid.  When in doubt stick to smaller slopes, less steep slopes, or avoid possibly wind loaded terrain.

    In most cases the large Wind Slabs associated with last weekend's storm have had time to settle, and this has led to a decrease in the avalanche hazard at upper elevations.  Observed winds on Tuesday were from the Southwest through Northwest and generally lighter than on Monday but still reaching Moderate speeds, and transporting snow.  If you choose to ride in terrain where the wind can blow snow, Wednseday will be a good day to make quality observations as to where the wind has been blowing snow to.  Look for variations in snow textures, and recent cornice growth.  While most Wind Slabs will likely be small, be more cautious on those slopes that experience stronger winds:  at the highest elevations, and where the wind is channeled around features or through passes.
