In sintesi

With cooler temperatures and wet weather moving through the region, avalanches will be unlikely on Tuesday.  Always carry your avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe, and use good backcountry travel practices like riding steep slopes one at a time.

Avalanche Discussion

Tuesday will be relatively cool, around 40 F in the mountains, with increasing clouds through the day and mixed rain and snow (likely rain in the afternoon). There will not be enough new snow or warming (via air temperature or rain on snow) to create avalanches that are large enough to bury, injure, or kill a rider. Nevertheless, if you're in the mountains on Tuesday, use best practices for traveling in the backcountry.  Note that the recent warm weather has been melting the snowpack quickly, and objective hazards like downed trees and rocks are emerging at the snow surface. The weather forecast indicates that conditions will be more favorable through the remainder of the week.
