In sintesi

The avalanche danger on the Skyline remains LOW. Human triggered avalanches are unlikely at this time.

Snow and Weather

Current Conditions: Under cloudy skies, it's the warmest morning yet with overnight lows hovering in the low to mid 30s. Wind speeds have been light from the southwest. The snow surface is a mix of crusts and loose dry snow.

Mountain Weather: Today, expect cloudy skies with high temperatures in the mid 30s and light to moderate west wind. A minor weather disturbance moves through tonight and Wednesday and we might see a snowflake or two fall out of the sky. Overall, the dominant feature is a giant ridge of high pressure that looks to persist through the new year. There is one small storm that weather models show busting through the ridge and producing snow this weekend. The big picture looks bleak though.
