Skredfaren svinger igjennom døgnet. Sola vil svekke snøoverflaten i bratte solhellinger.

I høyden er det fokksnø, men gunstige temperaturer gir rask stabilisering.

Forholdene ligger til rette for rask utvikling av svake lag nært snøoverflaten. Dette sammenfaller typisk med det gode skiføret i skyggevendte leområder med tørr og myk fokksnø i høyden. Årsaken er tørrsnø over fuktig snø, samt klarvær. Sjekk snøen nøye.

Tid på dagen og himmelretning er nøkkelen til en god skiopplevelse i påsken.

De siste dagene er det kommet noe tørrsnø i høyden. Mildværsgrensen har svingt mellom 100 og 400 moh. Kraftig vind har trolig gitt ujevn fordeling av fokksnøen. Det er tydelige vindtegn i snøoverflaten.

Det gamle snødekket er i hovedsak stabil, grovkornet snø. Mest snø er det å finne i skålformasjoner mot øst.

Under skoggrensen på ca 300 moh er det stort sett snøfritt.
