Forecast Snow Stability: Good stability in all locations. Forecasted precipitation unlikely bring significant change to overall stability and hazard. Initially moist and well bonded, the snowpack will become firmer everywhere later. Any remaining cornices expected to weaken for a time overnight. The avalanche hazard will be Low

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: A little light rain or sleet is possible overnight and during the early morning, otherwise dry. Strong South West winds. Mild at all levels overnight but becoming noticeably cooler later in the morning. Observed Weather Influences: Close to freezing near summits for a time overnight and generally cool during the day. Dry and overcast. ObservedSnowStability: Good stability in all locations. Firm snow in places depending on aspect and altitude but softer elsewhere. Some residual cornices over a few steep locations, mainly East aspects. Old cornice and avalanche debris is present in low grade gullies and below many steep crags in Coire Ardair. The avalanche hazard is Low
