It is possible with wet avalanches in steep terrain where the snow is very wet. Keep a safe distance to cornices and glide cracks.

Der snøen fortsatt er våt og myk kan du løse ut både våte løssnøskred og enkelte flakskred i bratt terreng. Men trolig fryser snødekket til natt til lørdag. I såfall vil skredfaren være lav.

Snowpack Structure

Mye regn har gjort snødekket gjennomvått. Det vil nå fryse på og bli skare. Det har vært mest snø øst i regionen og heng mot nord og vest har hatt tykkest snødekke etter mye vind fra sørøst før regnværet kom. Det antas at det gamle kantkornlaget fra januar/februar har blitt ødelagt etter all regnet.

Tendency

The snowpack is still wet and in places unstable. The avalanche danger will gradually decrease as the snowpack dries.
