Avalanche Activity

Thus far only isolated small avalanches are possible. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found at high altitude and adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be reduced.

Snowpack Structure

The more recent wind slabs are to be found adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls and generally at high altitudes. They are very small. The weather conditions from the early morning will give rise to moistening of the old snowpack. The surface of the snowpack will cool hardly at all during the overcast night and will already be soft in the early morning.
