In sintesi

At the upper elevations pockets of soft surface slab up to two feet in depth and loose snow sluffs could be triggered by humans who venture into steep terrain. As the day warms the potential for wet snow slides to occur on steep slopes at all elevations will increase.

Avalanche Discussion

Dry conditions are expected to continue. Skies are to be mostly sunny and mountain temperatures are to rise into the mid forties following just below freezing temperatures overnight. In the morning, avalanches will be unlikely given the re-frozen snow surfaces. Sunlight and warming will quickly weaken the surface crust, increasing the hazard to Moderate. As this occurs the possibility for skiers or riders to trigger wet or soft slabs to depths of eighteen inches will develop above 8500 feet in very steep terrain. Small wet loose slides could also be triggered or release naturally at all elevations during the afternoon.
